Why are our prices slightly higher?

The answer simply comes down to convenience. Sure, any contractor can give you a cheap repair quote. But when they screw up and have to come back? That costs you time and money. When you choose Cooper, we get the job done right—the first time around. That’s money (and time) well spent.

Boiler repair cost factors:

You may have noticed a wide price range for boiler repairs (see above). That's because your boiler repair cost all depends on:

  • What’s wrong with the system. What’s actually wrong with your boiler plays the biggest role in how much your repair will cost. That’s because some boiler repairs simply cost more than others. For example, a boiler that isn’t heating properly might just need a simple repair like replacing a blown circuit breaker or it might need a more complex repair such as replacing the circulator pump. Of course, the more complex the repair, the more expensive the job.

  • Accessibility of the faulty component. Some boiler components are located in hard-to-reach areas (i.e. pipes located between walls). The harder it is for a tech to reach the problem area, the more time and labor goes into the repair job, which will increase the cost.

  • Whether your warranty is valid.  If your boiler is still under warranty, you won’t have to pay as much out-of-pocket for your repair. Two warranties that you should check include your:

    • Parts warranty, which is provided by the manufacturer and helps cover the cost of defective parts.
    • Labor warranty, which is provided by the contractor who installed the boiler and helps cover the cost of labor needed for repairs.

Most warranties last anywhere from 1 to 10 years from the installation date.

How it Works

Our boiler repair process

Process Step
1
Schedule your appointment.

We make it easy to schedule your boiler repair—either schedule your repair online or call us directly at (719) 430-5630. Our team will work quickly to book a time and day that is best for you.

Process Step
2
Get fast, same-day service & upfront pricing.

Most of the time, we’ll send a boiler repair tech that same day to inspect and diagnose your system. Once we know what’s wrong, we’ll explain the work that’s needed and provide an upfront quote. If you choose us to do the repair, we’ll waive our service call fee ($189).

Process Step
3
Get your boiler repaired right, the first time.

Once it’s time to start the repair, our techs don shoe covers and place drop cloths to protect your home from dust, dirt or damage. From there, you can rest easy knowing we’ll work hard to get the job done right—the first time around. That’s how we maintain a high first-time fix rate.

Process Step
4
Enjoy peace of mind.

When the repair is complete and your boiler is up and running again, will explain and show you what was done before they leave. They’ll also explain our 1-year labor warranty on the repairs and make sure you’re satisfied with everything before they leave.

Repair or Replace?

Should I repair or replace my boiler?

Unfortunately, boilers don’t last forever. At some point, it’s more cost-effective to replace your boiler instead of continuously repairing a dying system.

Consider replacing your boiler if your:

  • Boiler is 12+ years old
  • Boiler needs frequent repairs
  • Home has hot/cold spots
  • Energy bills are higher than they used to be
  • Boiler runs non-stop & still doesn’t hit your desired temperature
Could not have been better

Jason checked our partially-inoperative baseboard/floor radiant heating system. He was on-time, and professional yet friendly. He found the problem quickly and corrected it. He checked our entire system, which is now completely operational. Jason did a great job in a timely manner. Could not have been better.
